Aircraft Structure Technician (II & III) at W3Global

Reports to: Lead A&P Technician

Job Summary

• Assure aircraft maintenance work, materials and practices conform to FAA, customer, company and manufacturers' standards of quality.
  
  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Modify, repair, assemble, fabricate install structural components and aircraft parts
• Working knowledge of FAA regulations, their interpretation and application.
• Performs approved repair operations to structures including sheet metal and other structures.
• Repairs flight control surfaces, engine cowling, and fuel cell/tank maintenance
• Overhauls mechanical assemblies including repairs and part replacements.
• Documents maintenance/repair per company & FAA requirements on aircraft forms, records and workbooks
• Must own and be skilled in the use of structures hand tools related to the responsibilities described above.
• Ability to read precision measuring tools and instruments.
• Works with close tolerance dimensions and various types of fasteners using common hand tools, special instruments and pneudraulic tools.
  
  

Aircraft Structures Technician Ii (ast Ii)

• Less than 3 years' experience - No A&P License
• No experience with A&P License
  
  

Aircraft Structures Technician Iii (ast Iii)

• 4 Years' experience with or without an A&P License
• Experience on at least 2 types of aircraft
• Experience on at least 2 types of engines
• Requires some direction and leadership training
