This position provides essential project coordination and administrative support to the Community Engagement, Investment and Philanthropy team in a variety of areas, serving as the lynchpin of our team. This person is responsible for tracking, reporting and analyzing internal data along with conducting market research relevant to our work. The candidate will be comfortable [and preferably have experience in] with managing quantitative and qualitative data and being able to extrapolate key points from the findings via written/verbal presentations. Additionally, this position will assist with internal programs and LOB initiatives to support the team's strategic goals and manage tools such as YourCause, Agiloft, and Supplier Io. This position will also work with senior members of the team to help provide support for projects both large and small as needs arise, and assist in coordination of CR-related events.

What You Will Do

  • Track and report metrics for Community Investment, Engagement, Philanthropy projects such as Vendor Inclusivity, Multicultural Outreach Campaign, volunteerism data, and local small business/diverse spend
  • Analyze data (quantitative and qualitative) related to community engagement, investment and philanthropy, summarize key points in written and spoken presentations
  • Keep organized records of all-inclusive vendor engagement activities related to both internal colleague communication/education and external partnerships with advocacy/trade groups that champion inclusive vendor engagement efforts.
  • Perform inclusive vendor engagement market analysis, benchmarking and insights gathering to ensure the bank stays current on industry trends
  • Assist in development and coordination of a program that provides support/education/technical assistance for small businesses throughout footprint
  • Develop thoughtful and user-friendly processes for managing information (i..e. Community Liaison Officer outreach to partners) and improving departmental materials for tracking business development opportunities
  • Conduct market research projects as needed to answer specific strategic questions, present findings
  • Orchestrate Corporate Responsibility special events in partnership with marketing and our community partners
  • Coordinate Community Investment Council meetings, and Community Advisory Council meetings (materials, minutes, follow-up tracker)
  • Provide administrative support/project management as needs arise

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate/organize large amounts of new information
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to fluctuations in workflow to meet deadlines in a demanding environment
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Interest and experience in working with community organizations highly preferred
  • 20% travel withing Webster Bank's footprint

This is a Hybrid role with a 3 day a week in office requirement

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000USD to $90,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
