We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with a deep background in exterior glass and glazing subcontracting. This role oversees commercial glazing projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, field coordination, and client expectations are consistently met. The ideal candidate is a seasoned glazing professional who can manage complex building envelope scopes and lead projects with confidence and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of commercial glazing projects, from initiation through completion
- Review drawings, shop drawings, submittals, and specifications to ensure project accuracy and compliance
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, procurement timelines, and installation progress
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, architects, and internal project teams
- Manage subcontractor and field crew performance; ensure safety compliance and quality standards
- Oversee RFIs, change orders, and all project-related documentation
- Identify and resolve site-related issues proactively to maintain project momentum
- Coordinate material deliveries, fabrication timelines, and installation sequencing
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the exterior glass and glazing subcontracting industry
- Strong understanding of curtain wall, storefront, window wall, unitized systems, entrances, and façade installation processes
- Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, structural details, and glazing shop drawings
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project, or similar)
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple active projects
