Highlights of what the Landscape Designer is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Generates CAD computer generated designs and drafting plans.
• Designs forefronts for residential projects.
• Generates drawings for all production packages.
• Designs all models for clients.
• Prepares commercial design renovations and retros.
• Administers all CAD related functions in the department.
• Generates all drawings for the department.
• Works closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
• Works from customer drawings, company drawings, government drawings, or specifications.
• Coordinates with estimating department by red lining changes and issuing drawings for estimating to issue product.
• Researches new design software and technological advances in design in order to maintain optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

Skills

Are you the right fit for this role? Skills & experience that are necessary as a Landscape Designer will include, but not limited to:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Landscape Design experience is highly preferred
• One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months of horticulture design experience.
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel and mathematics
• Detail oriented individual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule; overtime may be required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
