Job Summary:
Holmes Lake Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Member to oversee and manage the maintenance operations for our skilled nursing facility. This role involves directing daily maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety and functionality of the facility, and managing maintenance staff. Our ideal candidate is skilled in various maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, and has a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents and staff.

Position Type: Temp Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and perform maintenance duties including electrical, plumbing, painting, mechanical systems, and HVAC.
- Oversee the maintenance of facility grounds, including mowing, leaf blowing, parking lot cleaning, snow removal, and landscaping tasks such as mulching, edging, and planting.
- Ensure the safety and functionality of equipment and mechanical systems throughout the facility.
- Manage vendor relationships for services provided by outside contractors.
- Perform or coordinate routine inspections and preventative maintenance for facility equipment and systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: High School Diploma required; technical training or certifications in maintenance-related fields preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in facility maintenance, with a preference for experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Leadership experience and ability to manage maintenance staff preferred.
- Knowledge on Life Safety Codes preferred.
