Senior Mortgage Processor at Wizehire

We are actively seeking a top-performing Senior Mortgage Processor who is currently working in this exact role within a mortgage brokerage, and doing it exceptionally well. This is not a training position. We’re looking for someone who already knows the ins and outs of processing loans in a broker environment and has a proven track record of closing a high volume of loans efficiently and accurately.

The ideal candidate is experienced with wholesale lenders such as UWM, Village Capital, and Carrington, and is familiar with Change Wholesale and A&D Mortgage. You will be responsible for reviewing and uploading documents, clearing title, pushing back on conditions, and getting loans to the closing table, all without ever speaking to the borrower.

Responsibilities

Senior Mortgage Processor – Mortgage Brokerage

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Processor to join our growing mortgage brokerage. If you're an expert at getting loans across the finish line, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to be rewarded for your performance, we want to hear from you!

• Must have prior experience processing loans for mortgage brokerages (not just retail or correspondent).
• Must have experience closing loans with
• UWM
• Village Capital
• Carrington Mortgage Services.
• Familiarity with wholesale lenders, Change Wholesale, and A&D Mortgage is required.
• Review loan documents uploaded by Loan Officers for accuracy and completeness.
• Upload complete and compliant packages into lender portals.
• Push back on underwriter conditions and proactively work to satisfy them.
• Coordinate with title companies to receive, review, and clear title work.
• Ensure all documents and conditions are in place to get loans cleared to close.
• No borrower interaction required – this is a back-office, operations-focused role.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of loan processing experience required
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans
• We prefer an Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business - High school diploma or GED required
• Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills
