AR/Payroll Specialist

Position Overview
A strong mechanical contractor is seeking a part-time experienced AR/Payroll Specialist to manage our accounts receivable and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial processing and reporting, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Oversee accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and reporting.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to AR and payroll activities.
• Maintain accurate records of employee hours, deductions, and other payroll-related information.
• Act as the point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll processing and accounts receivable management.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) processes in a construction setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
