Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to identify nutrition needs and develop individualized meal plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team to implement nutrition plans and monitor patient progress
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition
- Stay up to date with latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate into practice
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient nutrition and education, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment, is preferred but not required.
- Registered Dietician (RD) or eligible for registration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1-2 years, with a strong foundation in nutrition and healthcare. We will train if needed and if you plan on getting License within a week of hire.
