Position Summary
- Evaluate a new end market and/or technology through market research and help develop Inorganic and/or Organic growth strategy to penetrate these markets.
- Support research and analysis required to support the annual strategic planning process
- Identify End Markets linked to long term mega trends with high growth and differentiation potential, aligned to Crane CPE vision.
- Segment the market and research products, technologies, market size, growth rate, profitability for the selected End market and the segments.
- Conduct market research, both primary and secondary, to assess competitive landscape, positioning.
- Utilize Crane Business development process to develop a detailed space assessment based on attractiveness and extendibility of the space and develop a funnel for potential acquisition targets.
- For organic growth initiatives leverage market assessments frameworks and tools to support strategy development.
- MBA degree from a reputable institution
- Technical undergraduate degree (engineering or similar) and at least 2 years of work experience in engineering before starting MBA.
- Highly organized, self-starter and detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build key relationships
- Good presentation skills
- Good analytical skills
- High energy level combined with a passion for the business
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Power Point and Excel
