Municipal Planner at Goodwin Recruiting

Our client is looking for a Municipal Planner to join their growing team.

Municipal Planner Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary of $30-38/hr

Municipal Planner Responsibilities:

• Support municipalities with current and long-range planning tasks
• Assist private development projects through the entitlement process
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently

Municipal Planner Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a planning-related field from an accredited university
• 4+ years of professional planning experience with municipalities or private clients (planning, technical studies, design)
• Knowledge of CEQA/NEPA and permitting processes (local, CDFW, Coastal Commission, Army Corps, RWQCB)
• Skilled in technical and grant writing, QA/QC, and report preparation
• Strong municipal planning background
• Strong research skills and use of agency websites and GIS platforms
• Valid CA driver’s license
