Summary
You will serve as a Transportation Assistant (Shipment Management) of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the(GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector ensuring corrective action is initiated when Transportation Service Providers(TSPs)/contractors do not provide required services, approving invoices, and managing shipments in storage. Serving as a single point of contact for all household goods shipment management functions related to invoicing, Storage in Transit/Non-temporary Storage (SIT/NTS), and providing Transportation Service Provider (TSP) quality assurance oversight. Approves/disapproves invoices and pre-approves accessorial services submitted by Transportation Service Providers (TSPs)/contractors. Invoices include electronic and manual invoices. Upon approval, manual invoices will be processed and submitted to Department Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)for payment. Performs all other duties relating to processing of invoices. Manages shipments in both Storage-in-Transit (SIT) and Non-Temporary Storage (NTS). Notifies members/employees of storage expiration dates, approves/disapproves requests for storage extensions, notifies TSP/contractor if shipment is to be converted to commercial storage, and performs all other duties incident to storage management. May perform duties of Contracting Officer Representative(COR)or Assistant Contracting Officer Representative (ACOR)for Defense Procurement Method (DPM) contract(s)Duties.
