Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Trainer to partner closely with our SVP of Sales and Directors of Sales in developing and elevating our Account Executives into high-performing Senior Account Executives. This role is critical to driving sales excellence and performance across the organization.
The Sales Trainer will design and deliver a comprehensive training and coaching program that blends PRC’s 35-year legacy of successful lease financing sales with the proven principles of Same Side Selling. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented trainer and coach with a strong track record of developing top-tier sales professionals in a performance-driven environment.
This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in telemarketing, consultative selling, and adult learning methodologies. The Sales Trainer will assess skill gaps, tailor learning experiences to various experience levels, and inspire teams to adopt new strategies and tools. Success in this role means empowering our sales force to consistently exceed expectations and contribute to the company’s continued growth.

As a Sales Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the performance of our sales team. Working closely with the SVP Sales and Directors of Sales, you will be responsible for the following:
- Training Program Development Design and implement comprehensive training and coaching programs for Account Executives through Senior Account Executives, integrating PRC’s 35-year legacy in lease financing and the principles of Same Side Selling.
- Sales Coaching & Skill Enhancement Deliver targeted coaching to improve sales techniques, client engagement, and strategic selling capabilities, fostering continuous growth and development.
- Collaboration with Sales Leadership Partner with senior sales leaders to align training initiatives with organizational goals, sales strategies, and performance metrics.
- Performance Evaluation & Feedback Monitor and assess individual and team performance, providing actionable feedback and adapting training approaches to maximize effectiveness.
- Content Creation & Optimization Develop and refine training materials, workshops, and resources that support skill development and reinforce best practices.
- New Hire Onboarding Lead onboarding sessions for new sales team members, ensuring a strong understanding of PRC’s sales methodology and company culture.
- Culture Building Promote a high-performance, learning-focused culture that encourages professional growth and accountability.
- Training Impact Analysis Measure and report on the effectiveness of training programs using KPIs, feedback surveys, and performance data to inform continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Sales & Training Experience: 3–5 years of proven success in telemarketing, including training telemarketing teams. Experience in coaching and training sales professionals; working with account executives is highly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with equipment leasing, financing structures, and related terminology is a plus. Ability to coach across the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—especially with large, multinational clients (preferred but not essential).
- Sales Coaching Expertise: Strong grasp of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies. Skilled in identifying skill gaps and customizing training for varying experience levels.
- Training Methodology: Proficient in applying adult learning principles and delivering engaging, interactive training sessions.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to inspire and influence sales teams to embrace new strategies, tools, and techniques.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with CRM platforms (Creatio a plus), sales enablement tools, and learning management systems (LMS). Capable of developing training materials using PowerPoint or similar tools. Able to analyze sales performance data to uncover trends and inform training needs.
- Location Requirement: Must be able to work onsite at our Irvine, California office.
- Salary: $125,000.00
- Total Compensation (including bonuses): $200,000.00
