The Maintenance Manager manages the strategic and operational maintenance functions/activities in the plant to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services meeting Kraton standards and is beyond the customer's expectations. Ensures a safe, environmentally sound, reliable facility by planning, setting standards, and formulating policies; develops procedures and practices, and training. Responsible for auditing, ensuring root cause failure analysis, recommendation, and implementation of improvements, and follow-up.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the maintenance organization responsible for continuous repair and improvement.
- Interface for all central contracted work in the plant, which includes both cost and capital work.
- Give functional directions to the material, engineering and inspection process which identifies, prioritizes, develops scopes, plans, and starts up capital projects.
- Manage the planning, scheduling, staffing, and execution of shutdowns.
- Serve on the Plant Leadership Team (PLT).
- Develop self, direct reports, and other leaders through training, use of teams and problem solving.
- Set direction and implementing key improvements in support of the business objectives.
- Strong business and technical skills in continuous and batch processing, reliability, SAP utilization and maintenance.
- Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact.
- Systemic problem solver, implementing solutions to solve root cause problems.
- Ability to create an environment that encourages and rewards teamwork and collaboration, both internally and externally.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and strong facilitation ability.
- Experience in the management of change.
- BS in Engineering.
