Description

Summary: We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support our growing mail-order and multi-state pharmacy operations. This position is ideal for a licensed pharmacist who is comfortable with a fast-paced data entry environment, prescription verification, and reviewing formulations for accuracy and appropriateness. While direct compounding experience is helpful, it is not required; instead, a strong understanding of medication formulations, stability, and clinical relevance within men’s health therapies is essential.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Enter and verify prescriptions with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review formulations for appropriateness, clinical suitability, compatibility, and dosing accuracy.
  • Ensure prescriptions meet state and federal requirements across multiple states.
  • Support mail-order pharmacy workflows, including order verification, labeling review, and compliance with multi-state dispensing regulations.
  • Collaborate with providers and internal pharmacy staff to clarify orders, resolve discrepancies, and support safe and effective therapy.
  • Assist with medication quality checks, documentation, and adherence to internal SOPs.
  • Participate in inventory review and communicate ingredient or product needs as applicable.
  • Provide occasional patient education regarding medication usage, storage, and expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and quality standards.
  • Offer flexible schedule availability, including PTO coverage and higher-volume operational periods.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in good standing.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably compounding, specialty, or mail-order.
  • Strong understanding of medication formulations, dosing concepts, and therapeutic applications.
  • Familiarity with mail-order and multi-state dispensing workflows (preferred).
  • High proficiency with pharmacy software systems and efficient, accurate data entry skills.
  • Working knowledge of USP standards and pharmacy regulations (compounding experience a plus, not required).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills
