Job Description

  • Seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales leader to drive revenue growth in the Springfield, MA territory.
  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing and implementing growth strategies.
  • Will also be involved in market research, sales planning, and presenting proposals to potential clients.
  • This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to develop strategic sales initiatives that align with our company's goals.
  • The BDM will be responsible for overseeing outside sales efforts, managing key accounts, and negotiating contracts to maximize profitability.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive business development initiatives.
  • Manage key client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients to secure profitable agreements.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
  • Utilize CRM for tracking sales performance, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • There is a clear path for this individual to grow into a Director of Sales position and build out a sales team underneath them once their own book of business is established.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management
  • Ability to conduct market research and analyze data
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability and willingness to cold call
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Hungry and willing to drive revenue and incest time into training
