Maintenance Technician at ABM Industries

Job Description

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs. We are looking for someone who has working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, doors: interior and exterior, water heater, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, and other equipment, systems or structures
• Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
• Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary
• Assists in emergencies as needed
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing building maintenance duties listed above
• Basic knowledge of proper use of power tools, hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of operating a computer and Microsoft programs
• Recognize various hardware parts and methods of repair for related tasks.
• Must possess organizational skills.
• Must be able to perform unsupervised
