As a member of the Infrastructure Network Team, this position is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of network systems including Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, VPN, and VoIP.

As a member of the Infrastructure Network Team, this position is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of network systems including Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, VPN, and VoIP.

- Configure and install network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, access points, VPN, VoIP, DNS, DHCP).
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including software updates, patches, and hot fixes to address security vulnerabilities.
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and maintain firewall configurations to ensure network is protected against unauthorized access and security threats.
- Implement networks that adhere to company policy to secure company assets and personal information.
- Apply OT security principles to protect operational technology networks and devices through proper segmentation and OT firewall configuration
- Keeping the network functioning at optimal levels for a manufacturing environment, this includes implementation of redundancy, failover, and High Availability architecture.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and Wi-Fi standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues and identify problems at different layers of the network.
- Demonstrate the ability to implement and support DNS, DHCP, VPN and VoIP services.
- Ability to learn new technologies and react quickly.
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field or combination of degree and related experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
- Willing to work outside normal business hours.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Motivation to expand technical horizons.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
- Customer focused with the ability to effectively plan and organize.
- Certifications (desired, but not required) – Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, CompTIA Network+/Security+
- Current experience in IT Infrastructure within a medium sized network (LAN/WAN) including knowledge of Cisco networking equipment, networking protocols and network management tools.
- Experience with Firewall technologies, particularly with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco is desired.
- Must be able to work and travel abroad.
- 2-5 years of experience
