Compensation
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like qualifications and performance taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is $80,000 – $95,000 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers experience level, skillset, and market conditions.

We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to help ensure our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality systems, support audits, and drive continuous improvement across operations—all to ensure patient safety and regulatory excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and review Quality and Operational documents, including SOPs, manufacturing records, test reports, and inspection records.
- Coordinate routine microbiological testing (in-process and finished product) to verify compliance with specifications.
- Maintain purchasing controls and supplier quality agreements to support quality system compliance.
- Assist in investigations of non-conforming products and related corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, responding to findings, and assisting with follow-up.
- Participate in change control processes and quality system improvement activities.
- Collaborate closely with Production, QC, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, and Supply Chain to embed quality considerations across all phases of the product lifecycle.
- Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process stages, and final products as needed.
- Support Quality Awareness Tests, Process Improvement Reviews, and supplier document management.
- Lead or assist with continuous improvement initiatives within operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in science or related discipline required.
- Experience in a manufacturing or regulated industry preferred.
- Exposure to U.S. and international medical device regulations a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Quality Systems (e.g., CAPA, audits, Management Review, Quality Planning).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated cross-functional teamwork.
- Basic project management abilities; organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret ANSI Y14.5 Geometric Tolerancing.
- Familiarity with machining processes preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and document control software.
- Comfortable working within integrated IS systems and ERP environments.
- Strong presentation and report-writing skills.
