POSITION TYPE

This is a full-time temporary position for December through potentially January. Depending on individual performance and company needs, there may be an opportunity for a permanent role.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Support the production and assembly of architectural lighting products by following documented procedures, ensuring product quality, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and collaborating effectively with team members.

Position Responsibilities

Production Assembly

• Collaborate with the Production Floor Manager to assemble product orders using hand tools, saws, and drills.
• Review production order documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to complete builds accurately and efficiently.
  
  
  

Facilities & Organization

• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, including production areas and tool storage.
• Follow housekeeping best practices to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
  
  
  

Quality & Communication

• Communicate effectively with the Quality Assurance team regarding any product faults or concerns.
• Help train co-workers on assigned tasks and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  
  
  

Experience

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining quality and safety in a production environment.
• Previous experience in the architectural lighting industry is highly valued but not required.
• Soldering experience—including surface preparation, flux application, and controlled heating—is a plus but not mandatory
  
  
  

Location Requirement

• Must be able to report to the Costa Mesa office daily
  
  
  

Physical & Environmental

• Lift, move, and adjust items up to 25 lbs.
• Remain seated or standing for extended periods as tasks require.
• Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger motions.
• Work in environments with varying temperatures and occasional noise.

• Ability to understand and communicate in English.

PAY

Based on experience $16-$18; all skill levels are welcome to apply. Candidates with soldering experience may be eligible for a higher pay rate.
