Lake Mead Christian Ministries (LMCM) Minister - Head Football Coach
Job Type: Part Time
Department: Athletics
Reports to: Director of Athletics
Compensation: $3,000-$5,000 Stipend (pending additional classes)
Job Summary: LMCA’s Head Football Coach oversees all aspects of LMCA’s High School Football program.
The successful candidate is responsible for managing the coaching staff, coordinating with players, and
ensuring the smooth running of all football-related activities.
The Head Football Coach not only develops student-athletes spiritually, academically, and athletically but also
fosters a culture of integrity, teamwork, and excellence. Strong communication and people skills are essential—particularly the ability to partner effectively with parents, build positive relationships, and support a healthy, unified football community.

- Agrees with and actively supports the LMCM Statement of Faith.
- Shows evidence of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in interactions with people.
- Has a Christ-centered home.
- Attends and actively participates in a local evangelical church.
- Leads and oversees all aspects of the high school football program, including varsity and sub-varsity teams.
- Develops and implements a comprehensive year-round program (practices, off-season training, conditioning, camps).
- Teaches football fundamentals, schemes, game planning, and sportsmanship.
- Mentors and guides coaching staff and players to foster skill development, teamwork, and Sportsmanship.
- Mentors student-athletes spiritually, academically, and athletically.
- Ensures compliance with school policies and state athletic association regulations.
- Recruits, supervises, and evaluates assistant coaches.
- Fosters positive communication with athletes, parents, administration, and staff.
- Promotes a culture rooted in teamwork, discipline, character, and Christ-like behavior.
- Manages equipment, uniforms, facilities, and program budget.
- Acts as a positive Christian role model, promoting values and ethics both on and off the field.
- Other duties as direct support deem necessary.
- Previous experience in coaching football (Head Coach, Coordinator, or equivalent).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of football strategy, player development, and safety protocols.
- Ability to lead, mentor, motivate, and build relationships with student-athletes and coaching staff.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must meet all background check requirements.
- Strong understanding and commitment to Christian values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior head coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
- Experience in strength and conditioning programming.
- Teaching certification or ability to fill a full-time teaching position.
- Demonstrated success in program growth, player development, and spiritual leadership.
