Develops and implements effective recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and recruit highly-qualified candidates for Universal Kids Resort (UKR) for frontline roles up to and possibly including operational leadership roles. Sources and maintains talent pools and healthy talent pipelines. Manages full-cycle recruitment to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, negotiation, and onboarding. Enhances both the candidate and hiring team experience by providing resources, guidance and expertise throughout the recruitment process, ensuring to position UKR as an employer of choice. Offers counsel to Hiring Managers to make sound hiring decisions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continuously monitors general recruitment progress against open requisitions. Adjusts and employs alternate strategies to fill requisitions when needed. Seeks out passive candidates and actively sources resumes through internet and database mining, and implementation of targeted sourcing strategies. Uses Boolean Logic, x-raying, cold calling, networking and referral promotion to generate robust candidate pools. Determines applicant qualifications by reviewing applications and interviewing applicants face-to-face, via phone screen or virtual interview; analyzes responses and compares qualifications to job requirements (which includes up-to-date knowledge of the skills and abilities required for each role). Identifies candidates for alternate roles when applicable. Makes hiring decisions for roles not requiring Hiring Manager interviews or schedules candidate interviews for positions requiring Hiring Management’s decision.
- Consults and partners with Hiring Managers to identify staffing needs for hotel and park frontline roles up to and possibly including operational leadership roles, ensuring the comprehensive evaluation of candidates and providing direction for any recruitment/staffing issues, policies and processes by providing counsel and recruitment expertise to all parties. Collaborates with HR Business Partners and hiring management to ensure internal promotion and development are considered prior to external search.
- Extends job offers, handles salary negotiations, schedules orientations, and utilizes necessary resources to assess and complete tasks related to Work Authorization, I-9 documentation, references, background checks and new hire onboarding. Retains and secures documentation as applicable to support eVerify, Child Labor Law requirements and compliance with all mandatory requirements. Maintains confidentiality and documentation in accordance with retention policies. Ensures data has been entered correctly and makes corrections as applicable.
- Develops content in support of Talent Acquisition initiatives; synthesizes information into communications and tools that maximize the Team Member and candidate experience. Ensures branding, voice, objectives, and values of the company are consistent throughout and are aligned where applicable with the UDX Centers of Excellence. Represents Universal Kids Resort at both on-property and off-site job fairs, expos and community events. Completes preparation and follow-up duties for events and actively participates in the event by promoting available job opportunities and information.
- Utilizes relevant systems and resources to track, report and measure status of recruitment efforts and overall success. Monitors recruiting trends in local labor market. Collects and analyzes data for use in designing recruitment strategies. Continuously improves resources to best utilize time, budget and available resources to hire top-quality candidates. 10%
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

- Role will occasionally include travel to off-site job fairs and hiring events. Travel may involve using a personal or company vehicle.
- Adept at sourcing passive candidates, utilizing LinkedIn and other social networks when necessary.
- Strong business acumen, client support orientation, and influencing skills; able to establish credibility and rapport with all levels of management.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Driven to successful outcomes, adaptive in times of change, and innovative in face of roadblocks.
- Superior written and oral communication skills necessary for candidate interviewing and assessment, client correspondence, project documentation and status reporting.
- Knowledge of EEO guidelines on employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the recruitment process.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

- Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
- Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or Communications preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years’ experience recruiting in Hospitality preferred.
