Mission description
As a member of Safran Seats, you contribute to providing over one million seats to airlines worldwide, ensuring superior quality, comfort, and innovation. Your role involves collaborating with a team to develop high-value solutions for passengers and crews. Safran is one of the few OEMs offering a comprehensive range of passenger seats, from economy to first class, allowing you to take pride in creating impressive seating options for various needs. 1. Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities) Objective: Responsible for data collection/analysis/reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) e.g. QRQC, SIOP, OEM for the Engineering department at Safran Seats USA. This position interfaces regularly with Engineering staff to communicate project and budget related data. Works under general supervision. 2. Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities) Supports the production of daily data using current in-house and third-party software applications, including (but not limited too) Excel, Access, BIRST, RMA, etc. Coordinates the daily engineering analysis and reporting for KPI metrics. Defines and utilizes tools to automate report delivery. Participates in creation and definition of new KPI metrics. Documents sources of reports and steps necessary to generate complex engineering reports. Analyzes and evaluates content and performance of data queries, reports, and other data-based processes suggesting improvements to improve data validity. Reviews and analyzes data from multiple internal and external sources with ability to interpret data that is not well documented or defined and develop recommendations based on findings. Participates in root cause, corrective action reviews to improve performance against KPI metrics. Conducts detailed analysis of databases and systems to identify real or potential data quality issues, including accuracy, completeness, and relevance. Participates in KPI review meetings with engineering leadership including, but not limited to, SIOP (demand/capacity review), Weekly Operating Reviews, and Monthly Operating Reviews Participates in SIOP (demand/capacity planning) process to update/cleanse data as required. Supports engineering data submittals to OEMs and retrieves data as required. Supports requests from external customers e.g. OEM's, other SSUSA departments, Safran Seats Company. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Qualification Requirements A. Education & Qualification- Associate's degree in Business, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field or combination of 3 years work experience and education related to the degree field if no Associate's degree. Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field preferred. B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge- (Acquired through previous jobs, assignments, responsibilities, etc. including language capabilities.) i.e.: Additional 2 years of related work experience in addition to education requirements Intermediate knowledge of data collection and analysis practices Intermediate knowledge of statistical measuring and analysis practices C. Professional Skills- (Ability to use the knowledge and/or the experience in the job) i.e.: Ability to work cross-functionally Analytical, problem solving (RCCA) skills Able to communicate clearly Presentation skills D. Behavioral Skills- Acts in accordance with company values Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to follow tasks through to completion E. Desirable Aspects- RCCA QRQC Basic knowledge of OEM submittals and specifications
