• Billing requirement: 200 per month
• $45.00 per hour for every hour exceeding the minimum billing requirement
• 20-25% equity partnership within 2-3yrs if attorney able to generate their own cliental and fully sufficient

Essential Job Functions

• Defends and handles workers' compensation cases under the state administrative process at the WCAB (trial level), as well as State Courts;
• Conducts investigation, interviews witnesses, analyzes medical and factual reports of injury for client recommendations and legal handling;
• Communicates effectively with clients, opposing parties, co-counsel to resolve issues;
• Takes depositions, analyzes testimony, prepares deposition related reports.
• Represents the Firm in appearances at hearings and conferences and prepares hearing reports;
• Researches, prepares and files appropriate legal pleadings for cases under the state administrative process (trial level) as well as State Courts;
• Prepares exposure analysis
• Negotiates settlements with opposing counsel per client settlement authority.
