We are seeking a highly skilled IT Help Desk Specialist with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing IT environments and proven knowledge of CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) frameworks. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience providing technical support, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, and supporting mission-critical systems in a regulated industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents in a timely manner, escalating complex issues when necessary
  • Maintain compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-171 requirements in daily IT operations
  • Support systems used in aerospace manufacturing, including ERP, MES, and CAD/CAM applications
  • Assist with audits, documentation, and reporting related to cybersecurity and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to enforce security policies and procedures
  • Train and support end-users on secure IT practices and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, tickets, and resolutions in help desk systems
  • Able to support on-site full-time in Ontario, CA
  • Occasional travel to alternate site in Riverside, CA


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of IT help desk or technical support experience in a regulated industry (aerospace preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of CMMC compliance levels and NIST cybersecurity standards
  • Experience supporting IT systems in manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and network troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, Cloud-based, and endpoint security tools
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing IT support
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, CISSP, or CMMC Assessor
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems and CAD/CAM software support
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and help desk ticketing systems


Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Physical Requirements / Work Environments

  • Ability to work in office, lab, and manufacturing environments with occasional exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and manual assembly
  • Visual acuity required for reading technical drawings and digital media
  • Valid US driver’s license and ability to operate motor vehicles
