Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Engineering Management: Partner with the CTO to run daily engineering operations — track deliverables, resolve blockers, and ensure progress across multiple projects.
- Hands-On Technical Involvement: Review architecture and code where needed, help debug issues, and support integration/testing to keep velocity high.
- Project Execution: Own timelines, sprint cycles, and resource planning for AI, computer vision, and software engineering programs.
- Technical Coordination: Bridge communication between the CTO and engineering leads; ensure technical decisions are documented and followed through.
- Process & Tools: Maintain efficient development workflows (JIRA, GitHub, CI/CD) and continuously refine team processes for speed and quality.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Product and Design to translate priorities into actionable engineering tasks.
- Quality & Delivery: Ensure technical deliverables meet design intent, performance, and reliability standards.
- Reporting & Transparency: Provide clear visibility into status, risks, and dependencies across all engineering efforts.
- 6+ years of experience in engineering or technical program management, ideally in startup or high-velocity environments.
- Strong technical background — capable of reading and understanding code, system architecture, and ML pipelines.
- Proven success driving complex technical programs end-to-end, from planning to production.
- Solid understanding of modern software practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to keep teams aligned and focused under pressure.
- Comfortable working directly with executive leadership and small, fast-moving teams.
- Experience in AI/ML, computer vision, or large-scale data systems.
- Prior hands-on software development experience (Python, C++, or similar).
- Familiarity with LLM/VLM development, model integration, or cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Innovative Environment: Play a critical role in transforming heavy industries through groundbreaking AI and automation technologies.
- Collaborative Culture: Be part of a team that values innovation, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Professional Growth: Benefit from significant opportunities for career development and advancement.
- Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a comprehensive salary and equity package reflective of your expertise and contributions.
