Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Human Resource Generalist will work in partnership with the Wilmington Plant Manager. Implements and administers HR policies, procedures, and programs at PWT Wilmington facility.
Essential Functions

- Lead by example, demonstrating PWT’s Basic Values while creating a positive work environment and an open communication setting.
- Provide consultation and coordinate services regarding HR operations, programs, systems, employee relations, and compliance issues.
- Proactively manage HR administrative responsibilities.
- Enforce and support all corporate programs and compliance related activities.
- Provide consultation, guidance, and coaching to the management team.
- May assist with investigations from Compliant Hotline calls.
- Responsible for resolving or assisting with employee concerns, complaints, and other issues.
- Use HR systems to compile information, prepare a variety of personnel action forms containing confidential information.
- Review and signoff of timecards prior to corporate payroll submittal.
- Coordinate and conduct orientation, education, and training. Ensure timely and consistent delivery of training programs.
- Responsible for all aspects of talent management including job postings, job screening, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for Wilmington mill.
- Ensure payroll documents, Performance Reviews, Performance Action plans, Corrective Action Reports, and other documents are properly prepared and processed and stored.
- Performs other related duties as assigned in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR strategies.
- Working knowledge of compensation, benefits, safety, training, and workforce planning practices and principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of jobs associated with the manufacturing process .
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ADP, and Kronos or WFM preferred.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

Required Education And Experience
- Four- six years of related experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial relations , Business, or related field preferred.
- HR Certification preferred
- Or any combination of the above that shows proficiency.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
