Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead municipal and public construction projects throughout South Florida. This role will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring compliance, schedule adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Description
Manage municipal and public construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout
Coordinate with public agencies, inspectors, design teams, and subcontractors
Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, and cost controls
Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and public bidding requirements
Lead project meetings, maintain documentation, and provide regular status reporting to ownership
Manage change orders, pay applications, RFIs, and submittals
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery
Profile
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on municipal or public-sector construction projects
Proven experience working in South Florida with local municipalities and public agencies
Strong knowledge of public procurement, permitting, and compliance requirements
Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors on complex projects
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
