What You'll Do:

Responsible for utilizing established procedures, guidelines, and industry knowledge and experience to identify and implement moderately complex to complex solutions to meet information technology (IT) systems needs and requirements through designing, coding, testing and analyzing new and existing software, under general to minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide data science solutions for business operations by monitoring trends, identifying opportunities, developing and presenting recommendations, implementing the strategies, and measuring the impact.
  • Develop queries and performs extensive programming to access, transform, and prepare data for statistical modeling.
  • Identify and diagnose data inconsistencies and errors, documents data assumptions, and forages to fill data gaps.
  • Develops and implements analytics enabled solutions to improve business process, to generate insights, support business goals and strategy development.
  • Generates relevant, actionable insights based on iterative data analysis, translate data-driven output into business language, and to make appropriate recommendations to respective business stakeholders.
  • Summarize analysis using a wide range of data visualization techniques to determine the types of insights derived from the product and data limitations.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships throughout the organization, fostering communication between internal and external project stakeholders which influence key decisions across stakeholder groups.

Education & Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; or equivalent combination of post high school education and experience equal to nine (5) years.

Experience:

  • 3+ years relevant work experience in business analysis including market competitiveness, financial analysis, transportation and logistics network optimization.
  • In addition, to experience with modeling linear regression, logistics regression, non-parametric statistics, probabilistic modeling and spatial modeling.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on skills in machine learning (supervised and unsupervised models), model training and evaluation, and Python-based data science toolkits (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib/Seaborn).
  • Basic proficiency with AI/LLM technologies such as prompt engineering, API-based model integration (OpenAI/Azure OpenAI/Bedrock), vector embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
