Overview

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a motivated and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team. This role plays a critical part in supporting recruitment efforts by attracting, sourcing, and selecting high-caliber professionals. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment focused on building relationships and driving talent pipelines to support business growth.

Primary Responsibilities

Sourcing & Selection

  • Proactively source and attract qualified candidates through diverse channels, including community networking, referrals, centers of influence, online platforms, career fairs, and advertising.
  • Build and maintain high-quality relationships both internally and externally to generate referrals and promote career opportunities within the organization.
  • Execute recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals, including conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and managing the full candidate lifecycle.
  • Partner with leadership to diversify sourcing approaches and ensure alignment with the organization's ideal candidate profile.
  • Support the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes and share best practices with the team.

Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis

  • Track recruitment metrics, activities, and outcomes to measure effectiveness and progress toward goals.
  • Analyze sourcing channels and candidate data to optimize strategies and report on key performance indicators.
  • Maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate on recruitment marketing initiatives to enhance employer branding and candidate engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (preferably in business, human resources, or a related field), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a related coordination role, including sourcing, interviewing, and full-cycle recruitment.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to engage communities and develop referral networks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative and proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing tools, and social media platforms for sourcing.
  • High drive for achievement, creativity in problem-solving, and comfort in a goal-oriented, performance-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices in talent acquisition is a plus.
