Job Description:

Nassau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a part-time role. This position involves diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders to improve the communication skills and quality of life of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapeutic strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide therapy and interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing abilities.
• Educate patients and their families about communication disorders and therapies available.
  
  
  

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of New York.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a nursing home setting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLP.
