Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our leadership team. In this key role, you will lead the development and execution of StandardAero’s global supply chain strategy, ensuring the seamless flow of materials, parts, and services critical to our operations. You will oversee all aspects of supply chain management, from sourcing and procurement to inventory management, distribution, and logistics. This position requires a leader with strong business acumen, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across a complex, multi-location environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the global supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational goals, and customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement best-in-class supply chain processes, systems, and practices that optimize cost, efficiency, and service delivery.
  • Oversee the entire supply chain lifecycle, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, quality, and sales, to ensure alignment on material and service requirements and timelines.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring high standards of quality, cost control, and on-time delivery.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements through data-driven analysis and lean methodologies.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience, including risk mitigation strategies for material shortages, global supply disruptions, and other challenges.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain department, reporting on performance to senior leadership.
  • Negotiate high-value supplier contracts and service agreements, ensuring favorable terms that support operational and financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards, including aerospace-specific certifications, safety protocols, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Oversee supply chain budget, forecasting, and resource allocation, ensuring operational costs are effectively managed.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure strategic partnerships that support StandardAero’s long-term objectives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in supply chain management, recommending innovations to stay ahead of market demands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or director-level role, preferably within aerospace, manufacturing, or MRO industries.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain principles and practices, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, demand planning, and vendor management.
  • Proven track record of leading and executing large-scale supply chain strategies across multiple locations or regions.
  • Expertise in supply chain software, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and data analytics tools to drive decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, stakeholders, and leadership teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements, particularly in the aerospace and defense industries.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM, or Six Sigma).
  • Experience with international supply chains, global sourcing, and trade compliance.
  • Strong background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in supply chain management.

Salary: $80,000 - 120,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, StandardAero considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
