Pacific Clinics offers comprehensive behavioral health services, support and social services and education services to individuals and families who are eligible for Medi-Cal across California.

Job Summary

Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm

Oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of each company-owned vehicle. Acquires new vehicles, oversees vehicle leases, ensures that vehicles are maintained within safety and legal guidelines and determines when and how to decommission a vehicle.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the Agency transportation fleet system.
  • Identifies car dealership, obtains price quotes and coordinates the acquisition of vehicles with Finance, program, and Facilities leadership.
  • Establishes vehicle leases and negotiates leasing contracts in coordination with the transportation program and Finance/Accounting. Monitors lease schedules ensuring that the Agency remains in compliance with lease renewal requirements.
  • Ensures that all new vehicles are added to Agency insurance, and that they are fully equipped and added to the fleet management system.
  • Ensures that maintenance records are maintained, routine maintenance occurs and that vehicles remain in safe working order. Oversees that urgent or emergency repairs are performed as needed.
  • Maintains all paperwork and filings required to maintain vehicles such as DMV renewals, registrations, and title transfers.
  • Prepares and communicates changes in plans, routes, schedules and/or instructions to drivers and parties requesting transportation services.
  • Ensures that maintenance records are maintained, routine maintenance occurs and that vehicles remain in safe working order. Oversees that urgent or emergency repairs are performed as needed.
  • Maintains all paperwork and filings required to maintain vehicles such as DMV renewals, registrations and title transfers.
  • Prepares and communicates changes in plans, routes, schedules and/or instructions to drivers and parties requesting transportation services.
  • Systematically monitors the effectiveness of transportation programs and services.
  • Establishes systems and processes that maintain and/or improve safety standards in compliance with agency policies, state and federal laws and/or insurance requirements.
  • Ensures Agency and Facility department rules, policies, procedures, security and safety are followed when driving company vehicles.
  • Ensures all rules and fleet management regulations are adhered to by site liaisons assigned to oversee local vehicles, including spot inspections, when necessary to enforce safety standards.
  • Reports to work on time and maintains reliable and regular attendance.
  • Models Pacific Clinics’ approach, mission and core values in all communication and correspondence.

Minimum Education And/Or Experience

  • High School or G.E.D with related work experience
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience overseeing a corporate fleet.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide concise driving directions, required.
  • Professional driving experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent computer skills and demonstrated ability to work in Windows Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Access, Power Point), and Adobe Pro. Must be able to create complex spreadsheets and dashboards.
  • Minimum three (3) years of driving experience, possess a valid California driver's license and insurable driving record under the Clinics' liability policy.

DRIVING PRIVILEGES

May be called upon to drive on agency business. Needs acceptable MVR and appropriate insurance coverage.

Required to drive agency vehicle. Must have clean MVR, appropriate insurance coverage, and attend agency driver training.

TRAINING

Needs to successfully complete all required agency training indicated for this position.
