We are currently seeking a Head of Operations who will oversee all internal operations and ensure company-wide compliance. This role is responsible for providing the scalable, foundational support systems that enable the Science and Product divisions to execute their work efficiently and with regulatory rigor.

We are currently seeking a Head of Operations who will oversee all internal operations and ensure company-wide compliance. This role is responsible for providing the scalable, foundational support systems that enable the Science and Product divisions to execute their work efficiently and with regulatory rigor.
What You’ll Do
Operational & Strategic Leadership
- In collaboration with the President and the leadership team, define the company's overall strategy and execution plan
- Convert strategy into clear operational priorities, KPIs, and dashboards
- Lead and manage all internal business operations, overseeing/managing shared services for finance, HR, and legal support
- Develop, implement, and manage scalable, efficient, and compliant processes for the company
- Provide the foundational support systems for project management and company-wide compliance
- Lead annual and quarterly planning processes
- Work closely with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
- Track operational KPIs and drive performance improvements
- Optimize unit economics, margins, efficiency, and throughput
- Identify bottlenecks and build repeatable, scalable processes
- Partner with Science and Product leadership to ensure operational processes
- Support agile research and software development
- Oversee the quality and compliance work to ensure all company outputs meet "regulatory-grade" standards, including 21 CFR Part 11
- Ensure the Quality and Compliance function serves its crucial, independent mandate to audit and support both the Science division (analysis validation, reproducibility) and the Product division (software validation, audit trails)
- Manage the quality and compliance work
- Serve as the interim Functional Lead for all Project Managers
- Foster a culture of efficiency, compliance, and cross-functional support
- 8+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a tech, biotech, or scientific consulting environment
- Demonstrated experience in scaling operations through replicable, consistent processes and technology
- Experience with project management
- Strong, hands-on experience managing finance and HR functions
- Experience managing quality or compliance functions, particularly in a regulated environment (e.g., healthcare, pharma)
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and scale cross-functional business processes
- Evidence of executive-level engagement and strategic planning
- Track record of hiring, mentoring, and leading teams, including managing other managers
- Direct experience with 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP standards
- Experience in a dual-mission organization (e.g., software/SaaS and professional services)
- Familiarity with data science, RWE, or clinical research environments
