In this position, you will work directly with senior engineering to proactively identify and address all problems, including, but not limited to, PC issues, setup, and configuration. We will also need to troubleshoot various server, website, and network issues. Successful candidates will require knowledge of general PC Lab and Help Desk activities, including desktops, laptops, software, networks, systems, and Exchange.

Responsibilities

• Strong hardware support: General troubleshooting and setup of desktops, laptops, printers, handhelds, and other peripheral devices set-ups.
• Strong operating support experience, including Microsoft Windows XP through Windows 10 and Apple OSX
• Software support: Microsoft Office 365 and other custom software.
• Proficient in MS Office 365 administration applications
• Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange /Active Directory
• Solid interpersonal skills - Professional and personable, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good troubleshooting skills - software and hardware
• Self-motivated - start and follow-through
• Ability to quickly learn, utilize and train others on unfamiliar software
• Strong focus on customer service
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of help desk experience with end user hardware, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office, and active directory.
• Experience with setup and maintenance of PC’s and laptops
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding employees
• Working knowledge of Active Directory
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• CompTIA A+ and MCSE preferred.
