Our team, Session Border Controller R&D – is a part of the Mobile Infrastructure Operating Segment. This segment creates value for our customers by providing the core and radio network technology and services that create value for our customers with our robust IP portfolio. Our Session Border Control R&D team continues to evolve our software and solutions to connect networks and cloud while providing high value and creating new opportunities for our customers
Educational Recommendations:
Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, etc,. or a related field with an accredited school in the USA

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As an intern on our team, you will:
- Learn the software architecture behind today's mobile phone calls and explore how it continues to evolve
- Contribute new ideas to expand and improve our team's efficiency by utilizing the latest technology
- Work with initiative and effectiveness in a hybrid environment.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to address complex, non-routine tasks and approach them with fresh perspectives.
- Active student status for at least one year, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability and willingness to work on-site in the Naperville, IL office during the internship.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer term.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong teamwork mindset with a collaborative and professional attitude.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable work.
- Knowledge of UNIX systems; familiarity with IP networking, Linux, programming, containerization, and virtualization is a plus, with a strong willingness to learn.
