Job Summary

The Vice President, Community & Social Health Programs (VP, CSH Programs) sets the enterprise strategy and leads a disciplined portfolio that measurably improves member health, equity, experience, and affordability. The VP prioritizes investments, ensures evidence based design, and scales what works across markets. The role partners closely with market leaders and enterprise functions to deliver results. The VP serves on the CSH Executive Team and the Chief Health Officer (CHO) leadership team.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Strategy & Roadmap: Define a clear strategy, OKRs, and multi year roadmap aligned to KP-s mission and business priorities; refresh annually based on evidence and enterprise needs.
  • Portfolio Leadership: Prioritize, fund, and sequence initiatives; manage interdependencies, risks, and change; ensure disciplined stage gates from concept to scale.
  • Program Design & Scale: Oversee evidence based program design and fidelity; develop playbooks and implementation supports that enable rapid, reliable scaling across markets.
  • Measurement & Value Realization: Establish KPIs and dashboards (health impact, equity, member experience, affordability); ensure transparent executive and Board reporting and post launch value tracking.
  • Partnerships & Community Alignment: Guide external partnerships (nonprofits, community based organizations, vendors) and align charitable contributions strategy-through the ED-to amplify program impact.
  • Annual Planning & Budgeting: Lead planning and resource allocation for program areas; direct dollars and talent to highest value work; monitor ROI and cost to serve .
  • People & Culture: Recruit, develop, and performance manage ED level leaders and teams; foster an inclusive, high trust , learning culture rooted in KP values.
  • Governance & Integration: Represent CSH on the CHO leadership team; coordinate with Enterprise Strategy & Business Development, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Government Relations, IT/Data & Analytics, Communications, and Regional leadership to align decisions and remove barriers.
  • Risk, Quality & Compliance: Ensure programs meet regulatory, privacy, and audit requirements; establish quality standards and continuous improvement.

This position has a target base salary of $288,000 to $360,000 and is eligible for incentive compensation, an executive allowance, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.
