Valley Invicta Academies Trust requires an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at our primary school in Kings Hill. This role will be within our Specialist Resourced Provision.
You will be required to work 27.5 hours per week (over 5 days) for 38 weeks per year on a permanent basis.
Our school has an established specialist resource provision, where children make excellent progress and achieve highly. We are looking for a person who has the skills, and ambition to enable specific pupils to accomplish their learning and personal targets.
Working across the school, with the support of SRP and mainstream staff, the role is suited to someone with the ability to use creative thinking to support children using personalised resources to learn and become as independent as possible. This person will liaise closely with teachers and other support staff and so needs to have excellent communication skills.
The school team are very supportive and this career opportunity would offer training and a career that is aimed at developing outstanding practice.
The ideal candidate will be able to think on their feet; working both independently and as part of the team, who is looking for a role that could grow and develop over time through excellent professional development. You would need to be calm and kind, able to take initiative and work flexibly.
