ProgressiveHealth is seeking an IT Specialist to join our Central Operations team in Evansville, IN. This role supports, secures, and optimizes our cloud-based and local technology environments, with a strong focus on cybersecurity, system reliability, automation, and productivity improvements across the organization.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, primarily on-site position located at our Central Operations office on Evansville’s west side.

ProgressiveHealth is seeking an IT Specialist to join our Central Operations team in Evansville, IN. This role supports, secures, and optimizes our cloud-based and local technology environments, with a strong focus on cybersecurity, system reliability, automation, and productivity improvements across the organization.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, primarily on-site position located at our Central Operations office on Evansville’s west side.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Support and manage Microsoft 365 cloud environments and local network infrastructure.
- Help strengthen system and cloud security, including identity management, access controls, and email security.
- Monitor systems and cybersecurity practices, assisting with risk identification and mitigation.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application and systems support, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Track and manage incident tickets, SLAs, prioritization, and resolution timelines.
- Support compliance efforts related to PHI/PII, security, and internal or external IT audits.
- Review, maintain, and improve automation workflows to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Assist with cloud usage monitoring and cost optimization efforts.
- Support system updates and changes through established change management processes.
- Help maintain and improve collaboration and productivity tools such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Planner.
- Assist with reporting and data analysis using tools like Excel and Power BI.
- Partner with internal teams on technology improvements and workflow enhancements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Three to five (3–5) years of experience in IT systems, cloud services, Microsoft 365 administration, or helpdesk environments.
- Level 2 application or systems support experience.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, cloud security, access control management, and compliance monitoring.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience supporting automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, Power Automate) preferred.
- Experience with collaboration and productivity platforms (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Planner).
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
- Experience with PHP, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Azure cybersecurity technologies is a plus.
