We are currently seeking a bright-minded student to provide value-add contributions to our growing organization as a Corporate Trade Compliance Intern supporting our Compliance team. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is excited to showcase their analytical skills and business-minded background within the fast-paced world of international freight forwarding. The contributions from this internship will directly impact Mohawk’s ability to provide exceptional service to our clients and maintain our reputation as a leader in the industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the Corporate Compliance team in day-to-day operations related to international trade regulations and company policy adherence
- Attend team meetings to gain insight into compliance program development, risk mitigation, and strategic initiatives
- Assist in drafting and updating compliance manuals, standard operating procedures, and training materials
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, legal, procurement) to support trade compliance initiatives and issue resolution
- Monitor and track regulatory deadlines, licensing requirements, and other key compliance activities
- Matriculated rising undergraduate student majoring in business, logistics, supply chain management or related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail, particularly in reviewing documentation and regulatory data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex information clearly
- Willingness to receive and apply constructive feedback to enhance professional growth
- Interest in international trade regulations, import/export operations, and global compliance frameworks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to learning and task ownership
- Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment
