Enphase Energy is a global energy technology company and a leading provider of solar, battery, and electric vehicle charging products. Founded in 2006, our innovative microinverter technology revolutionized solar power, making it a safer, more reliable, and scalable energy source. Today, the Enphase Energy System enables users to make, use, save, and sell their own power. Enphase is also one of the most successful and innovative clean energy companies in the world, with more than 80 million products shipped across 160 countries.
Join our dynamic teams designing and developing next-gen energy technologies and help drive a sustainable future!
Designing high volume custom magnetics is a core capability of Enphase. We combine electronic, magnetic, thermal, structural, and costing knowledge into a multi-physics optimization flow to design built-for-purpose transformers and other magnetic components. We work with our supply chain partners to manufacture these components in high volume, managing quality and performance. We are now looking to expand our team to enable the design and manufacture of Medium Voltage (<100kV) isolation-rated transformers. Candidates will have a solid background in magnetics and experience/interest in medium voltage isolation. We are looking to full multiple positions with a variety of specific skillsets to cover the cross-functional nature of this task.
What you will do.
This team is in Petaluma, CA. Although we have a presence in Fremont CA too, the physical nature of this work requires regular presence in Petaluma.
As a Sr. Finite Element Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for magnetic, thermal, electrostatic and structural analysis of magnetic component designs.
