Role
Reporting to the Events Director, the Private Events Manager is responsible for scoping, booking, and managing private events for venues on Finley Stadium’s campus; delivering exceptional service that promotes retention and growth.
This is a full-time, salaried position, with commission opportunity.

Role
Reporting to the Events Director, the Private Events Manager is responsible for scoping, booking, and managing private events for venues on Finley Stadium’s campus; delivering exceptional service that promotes retention and growth.
This is a full-time, salaried position, with commission opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Serves as primary contact for prospective private event clients, managing all aspects of event planning, walkthroughs with clients, coordination with managers, scheduling of staff and third-party contractors, event day execution, and post-event after action notes and invoicing.
- Works with Suites Manager and contract caterer to develop experience programs, culinary packages, and pricing for private events; specifically in the First Horizon Pavilion and Ultra Club.
- Maintains relationships with existing tenants and annual or routine event clients ensuring retention and partnership growth.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, maintaining accurate records and detailed sales activities in the Momentous event management platform.
- Assist in creation of new event spaces, concepts, and packages that meet market demand and industry trends.
- Heavy user for Event Management platform that manages all aspects of event scheduling, CRM, contract management, task list, invoicing, and reporting.
- Responsible for executing the Event Booking Policy based on established contracts and desired “event-mix” by the Board of Directors.
- Responsible for generating new revenue through event packages, marketing, networking, open houses, and social media.
- Outlines marketing campaigns and email newsletters to support event promotion, market venue sales and initiatives, and provide resources for guests visiting campus.
- Develops and maintains venue marketing publications, such as Venue Specification Guide, Catering Packet, and marketing handouts.
- Attends community events and meetings, representing organization as an avenue to building partnerships and relationships in the area.
- Keeps the finleystadium.com website fresh and up to date, working with partners to ensure search engine optimization, and customer feedback is up to date.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- 3+ years experience in Event Management and Sales, with proven record of developing new business revenue.
- Experience in contract negotiation and administration.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to marketing.
- Experience in Event Management platforms.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Thinks globally and analytically in order to reach appropriate solutions and creative positive results for the organization and community.
- Personable, Detail-oriented, Self-starter, Problem-solver, Team player, and ability to present data in consumable form.
