The Sr Business Analyst is a key member of the Improvement and Analysis team within Quality Management. This role supports clinical and operational areas by providing data analysis, reporting, and project management. The analyst plays a vital role in supporting the lean management system and quality initiatives through metric development, workflow design, and data validation.

The analyst plays a vital role in supporting the lean management system and quality initiatives through metric development, workflow design, and data validation.
What You’ll Do
- Support analytics related to quality, service, cost, and satisfaction measures
- Lead small to medium-sized operational and improvement projects
- Recommend statistical tools for evaluating clinical performance
- Validate and test organizational data
- Represent SNHH on SolutionHealth data committees
- Support data governance and accreditation-related activities
- Develop and maintain ad hoc databases (Excel, SharePoint, Access)
- Create and present reports with visual data displays for internal and external audiences
- Serve as a resource for data analysis tools including Power BI, SQL, Excel, Visio
- Apply improvement skills in system-wide projects
Who You Are / Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor’s in analytics, computer science, engineering, public health, or related field
- Preferred: Master’s in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Required: Lean or Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent experience
- Preferred: CPHQ, CHDA, Green Belt in Lean/Six Sigma
- Required: 3–5 years in analytics or quantitative work, preferably in healthcare; strong data analytics and reporting; project management experience
- Preferred: PMP certification
- Advanced Excel and statistical software
- Intermediate MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI
- Strong data collection, analysis, and dashboard creation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in teams
- Knowledge of hospital and ambulatory reporting programs (CMS, ACO, HEDIS)
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding (ICD-10, CPT)
