Duties/Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform all duties with respect to Company’s Purpose, Values, Standards & Core Competencies.
- Maintains tools and maintenance equipment in working order and keeps maintenance room in neat condition.
- Mows lawns, removes weeds and brushes, and does other yard work including snow, leaf, and debris removal.
- Opens clogged drains, fixes leaks, and performs other simple plumbing jobs.
- Install appliances, including but not limited to ovens, ranges, washers, dryers and dishwashers.
- Reads meters to collect utility usage information in coordination with the community leader.
- Does touch-up painting and repaints buildings, cabinets or rooms as required.
- Changes light bulbs, may replace fixtures, and does similar minor electrical tasks.
- Performs simple carpentry tasks, such as installing doors, repairing steps, fences, and rails.
- Clean homes to prepare for sale.
- Cleans laundry rooms and common areas such as bathrooms and clubhouses.
- Assists with loading or unloading trucks and moving furniture when needed
- Following all safety & emergency procedures
- Communicating with management daily; Communicate any problems promptly and clearly and make recommendations to Development Leader towards solutions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Carries out all responsibilities in compliance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal, and local laws.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Able to work autonomously and safely with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to read simple instructions and follow simple diagrams.
- Must be able to perform simple tasks independently after being given specific instructions.
- Must have general knowledge and safe use of equipment used in the building trades.

- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one-year property maintenance or related experience.
- Ability to respond to after hour emergencies.
- Ability to push, pull, lift 50 pounds.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
- $20-26/hour DOE
