Job Summary
The Senior Director of Performance Marketing & Analytics defines and executes the performance marketing, analytics, and performance marketing technology strategy to drive revenue-producing activities across all business lines. The role will be responsible for maximizing marketing efficiency, campaign results, and the overall customer lifecycle journey while delivering profitable growth and customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Direct the vision and strategic roadmap for the performance marketing technology infrastructure, including the effective utilization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to maximize efficiency and growth.
- Define and lead company-wide performance marketing strategies, integrating data, analytics, digital channels, and direct response to meet customer acquisition and deepening goals, with a strong emphasis on maximizing Return on Investment (ROI) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) performance.
- Oversee the marketing and growth analytics function, delivering actionable insights, performance measurement, and reporting for all revenue-generating marketing programs. Lead executive-level reviews on performance marketing effectiveness, translating complex data and analytical findings into strategic narratives that inform business decisions and future marketing investment.
- Evaluate and advocate for emerging MarTech platforms and capabilities that provide significant advantages in customer acquisition and growth. Conduct regular competitive analyses to benchmark Arvest against the technology, data capabilities, and performance of peer financial institutions and FinTechs.
- Collaborate with business units and other marketing teams to align on data management, personalization goals, lead management workflow, and agreed-upon marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Lead and manage direct reports and cross-functional teams to execute the performance marketing vision and ensure accountability for strategic plans and desired business outcomes.
- Partner with Finance to develop business cases, testing scenarios, and budgets, operationalizing proven initiatives into the core marketing plan. Translate results and attribution data into prescriptive budget recommendations that maximize program spending efficiency.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to job duties. This includes, but is not limited to, completing compliance training, adhering to internal procedures and controls, and reporting any known violations of compliance. policies, laws, or regulations, and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
- Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Required: 10 years of progressive marketing leadership, with 5 years in a senior leadership/director-level role overseeing performance marketing and analytics within a financial or other regulated industry.
- Required: 8 years of experience in marketing automation, database, direct marketing, and/or CRM execution.
- Preferred: Financial services or banking industry experience, including knowledge of compliance/regulatory constraints and the core banking customer lifecycle. Working knowledge of bank regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending, consumer advertising rules).
- Preferred: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams (Marketing, Information Technology, Sales) and managing complex agency and MarTech vendor relationships.
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar MarTech platforms in successful B2B/B2C sales.
- Experience managing large-dollar marketing budgets and leading performance strategies for an organization of similar scale (regional bank, large credit union, or multi-state B2C financial services firm).
- Ability to collaborate at all organizational levels to effect change while respecting organizational culture.
- Relevant work experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree requirement.
- Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
- Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Preferred: Professional certification such as, but not limited to, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Certification, Google Analytics or Meta Ads Certification, Certified Financial Marketing Professional

- Must be able to operate a passenger vehicle and possess a current, valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel overnight, unaccompanied, within the United States via automobile and air is required, no less than 25% of the time.
- The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
