Project Manager Software Integration - Interoperability | Albuquerque, NM | Hybrid

We're working with Cherokee Federal on this exciting opportunity.

This role offers a unique chance to lead complex software integration projects within the health IT sector, focusing on interoperability. You'll be instrumental in shaping project management standards and processes, contributing to an evolving center of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume a leadership role in developing project management standards and processes.
• Provide project management for assigned projects of a more complex nature with limited oversight.
• Manage Health Information Technology projects including Master Patient Index, Health Information Exchange, Terminology Standards, and Interoperability.
• Complete project level risk assessments based on customer and management feedback and ensure risk mitigation occurs.
• Prepare and monitor budget and completion of work on time; evaluate and document variances.
• Facilitate project communication and coordination across the project team, communicating status updates to management.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Strong experience in managing Health Information Technology projects.
• Experience in the implementation of HHS Office of National Coordinator for Health IT regulations and guidelines.
• A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years' work experience in project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Must have an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
