The Electrical Journeyman - Prefabrication is responsible for installing high-quality electrical field work and taking measures to increase the company’s effectiveness and efficiency. The position reports directly to the field foreman.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Working in our Prefabrication Shop
- Build your own skills by training apprentices to be the best in the business
- Work on a wide range of projects like data centers, water processing plants, casinos, resi-mercial high rises, pharmaceutical plants, and many others
- Maintain a constant focus on safety and enjoy working with the best equipment in the industry while you lay out and organize tasks for apprentices, use formulas to determine pipe fill, device and panel size, plan and handle materials required for the job, and many other tasks
- Demonstrate and embrace our company values, our PACT: People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships
- Have a minimum of 4 years documented field work or completion of a 4-year electrical apprentice program
- Have an excellent understanding of the electrical industry and experience in the following:
- Controls
- PLC
- Motors
- Threading GRC
- Enjoy being part of a team, providing leadership, and producing high quality electrical workmanship
- Be highly curious and motivated to continue your education and professional development
- Be willing to travel to a variety of job sites within a 50-mile radius
