Position: DC Power Technician
Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot DC power systems in various settings.
- Equipment Inspection:
- Conduct routine inspections of DC power equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support for clients and internal teams on DC power-related issues.
- Testing and Diagnostics:
- Perform testing and diagnostics on DC power systems to identify and resolve faults.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and service reports.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications for Ideal Candidates:
At Alpine Power Systems, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Driver's License:
- A valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a DOT Certification.
- Experience:
- DC Power Plant experience is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Knowledge of battery testing equipment and familiarity with safety policies and procedures is a plus.
- Mechanical Skills:
- Basic mechanical skills are required.
- Physical Capability:
- Ability to lift 70+ pounds.
- Customer Service Focus:
- Strong customer service/solutions focus.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Technical Understanding:
- Ability to read and understand basic layout drawings and schematics is a plus.
