Racing Louisville FC is seeking a full-time Team Security Officer responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of players, technical staff, and traveling party at all appropriate times. This role will be embedded with the Team and present during all required Team activities, including training sessions, home and away matches, and Team-related travel.
The Team Security Officer will coordinate closely with the NWSL Director of Security to develop, implement, and maintain security protocols in alignment with league standards and best practices.

Essential Duties
Team Presence & Coverage
- Serve as the designated Team Security Officer and remain with the Team at all appropriate times, including but not limited to Training sessions, Home and Away matches, Team-related travel (domestic and international, as applicable)
- Travel with the Team as required, including overnight and extended travel periods.
- Coordinate with the NWSL Director of Security to develop, implement, and continuously evaluate Team-specific security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all NWSL security standards, CBA requirements, and applicable league directives.
- Conduct risk assessments for Team facilities, hotels, transportation, and venues.
- Develop and maintain emergency action plans (EAPs) for Team activities and travel.
- Coordinate with stadium security, local law enforcement, private security vendors, and venue staff for home and away matches.
- Manage secure ingress and egress for players and staff.
- Monitor crowd, media, and public interactions involving players and staff.
- Advance hotels, training sites, and venues from a security perspective.
- Coordinate secure transportation plans for Team travel.
- Serve as point of contact for security-related matters while traveling.
- Respond to and manage security incidents involving Team personnel.
- Document incidents and provide timely reports to Club leadership and the NWSL Director of Security, as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Work closely with Team Operations, Medical, Player Care, and Communications staff to support a safe and secure Team environment.
- Serve as a trusted on-site security resource for players and staff.

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in security, law enforcement, military, executive protection, or professional sports security.
- Demonstrated experience working in high-visibility, fast-paced environments.
- Ability to travel extensively, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended road trips.
- Strong judgment, situational awareness, and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment comprehensive background check is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with a professional sports team or league.
- Experience coordinating security for team travel and large-scale events.
- Familiarity with league-level security standards or collective bargaining agreement requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
- Must be available outside of traditional business hours based on Team schedule.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, preseason, postseason, and all team matches and events (home and away).
- Significant travel required, including on charter flights, buses, and multi-day road trips.
