As a Manager in the Product Director Office (PDO), you are a highly capable individual with valuable experience that can provide the PDO executive team with an in-depth analysis of financial data, create proposals for how to improve profitability, collaborate cross-functionally, think strategically, and react with urgency and flexibility to changing internal/external factors. You will work closely with stakeholders from product planning, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, R&D, and finance, to identify and execute opportunities to meet profit targets. How You Will Make An Impact
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand the status and viewpoint of all stakeholders as it relates to P&L.
- Analyze financial data with the ability to propose enhancement opportunities to product competitiveness and to influence PDO management.
- Guide the program in each product milestones to maximize profit and sales potential by having full understanding of Hyundai Motor Company development capabilities.
- Support intensive Cost Competitiveness Workshop for major post-SOP models by collaborating with relevant divisions to find profit improvement opportunities continuously.
- Align Americas SR Performance with TdC Target and develop countermeasures to minimize any discrepancies.
- Monitor monthly cost performance.
- Communicate clearly and concisely the program status to PDO management.
- Keep on-time performance of program milestones.
- Product development / Price positioning / Sales cost / Material cost management.
- This role requires the performance of work directly related to management and/or general business operations.
- The exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance is required.
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Six or more years of professional experience in automotive manufacturer/distributor with direct product responsibilities (planning, marketing, and/or sales).
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience desired.
- Cross-functional team management experience is required.
- Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficiency.
- Good organizational and Data mining skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to simplify complex issues, develop compelling point of view, persuasively make case for change leading to action.
- Outstanding written & verbal presentation skills required for external and Senior Leadership interactions.
- Strong automotive technology knowledge.
- Compensation Range: $86,800 - $124,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.

- Work Model: Hyundai/Genesis is currently in a temporary hybrid work model. Please note that we will be transitioning to a 100% onsite work model effective Monday, July 28, 2025.
