- Patient Care & Testing – Perform accurate work-ups (3.5 patients per hour) and key diagnostics:
- Visual acuity, manual lensometry, visual fields
- Applanation tonometry, motility evaluation, pupil testing
- OCT, corneal topography, visual fields, A/B-scan, fluorescein angiography
- Surgical & Clinical Support – Assist in minor procedures while maintaining sterile technique
- Patient Flow Management – Keep clinic running smoothly, triage emergencies, handle prescription refills
- Equipment & Admin – Maintain instruments, stock exam rooms, support supply audits
- High school diploma required; college preferred
- 3–5 years’ experience as an Ophthalmic Technician (preferred)
- Certification required: COA, COT, or COMT
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and detail orientation
- Nextech EMR experience a plus
- Location: Largo, FL – In-person
- Type: Full-time & Part-time available
